What do you mean you don't remember this guy?

Some things about this comic aren't planned; they just happen organically. For one thing, the first arc of comics (the first four or so of Iain and Lou in the park) was originally just a test run, to prove to myself that I could write a strip comic that was also a story. (I'm still not convinced that I can, but I seem to have people fooled, so let's just run with that.) Then I spun a lot of the basic set up out of the dialogue in those comics, developing it into the basis for the series you know and love today.

Actually, thinking back, I don't think I sat down and drew up anything approaching a cast until after Ruby showed up (and I don't think she had a name then).

The annoying thing is that a lot of people on that cast list haven't really seen light of day, or been named on-panel. Things just haven't worked around to the point where I can legitimately involve them. Flying Green Boy wasn't on the list, and his two prior appearances outnumber most of the other people (many of whom are at least present in that ensemble shot, which I note was published two years ago yesterday).

So, I'm going to try and expand the cast a little, and introduce some of the people I've been meaning to for the last two years or so.

For now, though, have a scene with a random flying boy.
