Oh, did I end on a cliffhanger? Whoops. Sorry about that. It's one of those things where the effort to do a gag-per-strip comic conflicts with the desire to produce an overarching narrative, and the urge to do something surprising with the end of the "page". But then, it's been a while since this has been a gag-per-strip comic per se, so you know, whatever.

These new guys are a bunch of old character concepts who I never got a chance to otherwise use. If there's one thing I've learned from reading comics it's that you should never throw anything away.

Oh ... and "Earth-Chiron" is a reference to my little universe's designation according to the Crossoverlord universal tour guide. Then, of course, I go to check the current comic and they've decided those designations are used by the other guys. Well, I guess once a system is in use, it's going to get used...
