Incidentally, I have no idea if this is an option at most American colleges, but I've decided it is at whichever establishment the Special School is based. Yes, not satisfied with floundering around in football terminology, I decided to build a whole plot point around a system of which I have no personal experience. I figured I had three options: 1) Do the research; 2) Hold off on this until Dumbing of Age reaches the end of it's first school year; or 3) Do not do the research, and shoot for an entry on another TV Tropes page.
